Who is responsible

Your skincare consultant decides how your information is used for your consultation and is responsible for it. Their name and contact details appear on your booking page, your questionnaire and your report.

CLERA provides the platform your consultant uses, and handles your information on their behalf. For any question, you can contact your consultant first, or write to CLERA at hello@clera.skin.

What we collect

Your answers to the skin questionnaire. Some of them are health information, such as pregnancy, medicines, skin conditions and warning signs that may need a doctor.

The face photos you take for your consultation and your check-ins, and your answers at each check-in.

Your booking details: your name, email address or phone number, the time you chose and any note you add.

What your consultant records about your skin, and the report and routine they prepare for you.

Why we use it

To prepare and carry out your skin consultation, follow your progress over time, manage your bookings and send you booking emails and reminders.

Your health information is used only because you agreed to it in the questionnaire, and only for your consultation.

Your photos

Your camera stays on your device while you take your photos. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it.

The face map that guides your photos is calculated in your own browser. Your photos are then stored privately: only your consultant can see them, and the links in your report expire after an hour.

Your optional choices

Using your photos, without your name, to improve skin analysis for every skin tone, and showing your before and after photos publicly, happen only if you tick those boxes in the questionnaire.

You can change your mind at any time by telling your consultant or writing to hello@clera.skin.

Where your information is kept, and who helps us

Your answers, photos and bookings are stored with Supabase, on servers in Paris, France (European Union).

The website is hosted by Vercel, and booking emails are sent by Resend. These services handle your information only to provide their service to us.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Your information is kept for as long as your consultant needs it to look after your skin. Your consultant can delete your whole file, photos included, at any time, and will do so if you ask.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, and you can withdraw any consent you gave. Contact your consultant, or write to hello@clera.skin.

Depending on where you live, data protection law may give you further rights, including the right to complain to your country's data protection authority.

Cosmetic advice, not medical care

A skin consultation on CLERA gives cosmetic advice. It is not a medical diagnosis. When your answers show a sign that needs a doctor, you are told so clearly.
